The department of the Adult and Continuing Education hosts the 2022 International Conference on Active Aging and Learning: Tolerant, Self-directed, Social Engagement

In conjunction with the Center for Aging and Education Research, our department will host the "2022 International Conference on Active Aging and Learning: Tolerant, Self-directed, Social Engagement" on November 10th and 11th, 2022 at the International Conference Hall of the National Chung Cheng University's auditorium (with online streaming). Experts and scholars from the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Japan, and other countries have been invited to participate in this conference. The conference aims to promote a friendly, autonomous, and connected dialogue and discussion, and through keynote speeches, practical exchanges, paper presentations, interactive experiences, and outcome exhibitions, encourage participants to experience the importance and diversity of active aging learning through practical actions. The main objectives of this conference are:
(1) to explore policies, research, and practical programs related to the aging society, and to discuss future practical development strategies for promoting active aging learning domestically;
(2) to promote innovative practices in active aging learning, gather ideas and suggestions from experts and scholars from Taiwan and other countries, and use them as strategies for future promotion; and
(3) to expand participation through a combination of physical and online streaming methods, creating a ubiquitous active aging learning environment.
