The Department of Adult and Continuing Education at National Chung Cheng University is unique for its comprehensive degree programs. It’s the only one department that provides programs for the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Taiwan.

Undergraduate Program
The curriculum of the department puts emphasis on basic knowledge in adult education, administration management and human resource development. Students are required to take 28 credit hours in General education courses, 59 credit hours in Professional required courses, 18 credit hours in Professional elective courses and 24credit hours in other electives.
Masters Degree Program (Including In-service Master Degree Program)
The Master's Degree requires 4 credit hours in the required courses Research Methods of Education and a 4 credit thesis. In addition, it requires 28 credit hours in elective courses which identifies students’ core competency required.
Ph.D. Program
Coursework for the Ph.D. consists of five stages: methodology, theories, and independent study, qualify examination and a dissertation. Courses place emphasis on seminars in advance study of adult education and journal article writing training.
