Organized the “2018 International Conference on Active Aging and Learning: Optimizing the Way We Age”

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education respectively held the “2018 International Conference on Active Aging and Learning: Optimizing the Way We Age” in the National Library Lecture Hall and the National Chung Cheng University Activity Center Performing Arts Hall from 107/12/5 to 107/12/7, invited Prof. Brian Findsen, University of Waikato, New Zealand, Director Ling Zhanhui, Singapore Leap Family Service Center, Prof. Mitsuru Takahashi, Tohoku University, Prof. Renato P. Veras, Rio de Janeiro State University, Brazil, Prof. Dae, Seoul National University, Korea Joong Kang et al. explored countries' social policies, research and practical programs for senior citizens, and discussed practical development strategies for promoting ageing learning in the future, as well as promoting innovative practices in ageing learning, bringing ideas and suggestions from experts and scholars in Taiwan and other countries together for the strategies of  follow-up promotion. The conference totally brought the participation of 840 people.
