1. This event is co-hosted by the Department of Elderly Welfare and Long-Term Care Services (College of Medical and Health Care) and the College of Nursing at Hungkuang University, together with the Chinese Association of Legal Risk Management, with the Taiwan Association of Senior Service Management as co-organizer. Under the theme “Walking Together Through Life’s Final Chapter: End-of-Life Care, Physical and Mental Well-being, and Legal Practice,” the forum aims to promote cross-professional exchange and to deepen long-term care professionals’ understanding and application of end-of-life care, physical and mental support for care workers, and legal practice.
2. The forum will bring together experts and practitioners in life-and-death studies, medicine, law, social work, and long-term care services to discuss death taboos and funeral self-determination, end-of-life and hospice care, and practical experience in home hospice and day care settings, with the goal of promoting care that upholds dignity and respects individual wishes.
